Cody here. Jon and I have been at this for a LONG time. Since we launched Unqualified Gamers, our first podcast, in January 2012, we’ve produced more than 200 combined podcasts, YouTube videos, and live streams. And that has taken a LOT of free time — and money.

Note that everything we create, we do for the joy of creating. But creating comes with costs. Over the last decade or so, I figure that on average, I’ve put ROUGHLY a hundred bucks a year towards products and services that directly help me make better and cooler stuff for anyone who wants to enjoy it. That includes website hosting costs, microphones, webcams, and soundproofing for podcasting, equipment for video game streaming, and software and web services like WordPress themes to support and streamline all of the above. Jon and I have shared some costs, and he’s always happy to pitch in the money when needed. But I’ve served as executive producer, editor, webmaster, and social media manager for all our projects since we started all this more than 6 years ago.

We don’t have a traditional Patreon page, but we do have a very direct way for you to “give back” if you feel so inclined. If you’re a fan of what we do and you really want to blow my mind, then here’s my Amazon wish list. I don’t really know how it works, but hopefully it’ll give you the option to buy me a thing I’d like to have and ship it to a shipping address where I can get the package. Otherwise, below is a PayPal thing that’ll let you straight-up toss a buck or two my way as a way of saying thanks.

I will be eternally grateful (and probably in shock for a while) if you choose to chip in. But either way, I am truly thankful for you and everyone else who has read or listened to the stuff Jon and I have made for you over the years. Thank you for being a fan of Game/Life Balance U.S. and for considering some financial support!

Please note that support goes directly to Cody Gough to mitigate hosting and production costs for Game/Life Balance U.S. and will not be shared with: Cody’s other projects (including Curiosity Daily); other shows on the GonnaGeek Network; or our sister show, Game/Life Balance Australia. Please visit their respective websites if you would like to support those entities, or add a note if you would like a financial sum to be shared with Jon.
